hmmm I thought the shorter one was female
EmlynMara chapter 37 . 1/13/2013
Going through my FF mailbox, I found a notice of this and realised that for some bizarre reason, I'd never read this chapter and finished the story. Wonderful ending to a great story. I love your characters and you definitely have a way with words and weave marvelous tales. Thanks for sharing with us. The only part I didn't quite get was the back story to the ring Ginny is wearing. Maybe something was missing, or the rest of the tale was told in a different chapter, or I'm just losing it. ;-) Great job!
EmlynMara chapter 36 . 1/13/2013
I can't believe I got so behind on my readings. I checked on this chapter and found out I missed this one too. Great to see Charlie coming back from the dead and loved the Daddy moments with his nieces and nephews.

FLUFF!

You have got to be one of the best authors on here. I love your work and while I am sad to see this story end I enjoyed every chapter.
Stephanie O chapter 37 . 10/18/2012
Wonderful conclusion! I got such a kick out of the one-year-olds' speech in this, and then had a realization...no more Connor-isms after this!? Oh no! ;) Loved the stories about the rings she gave to Harry & Ginny, and the ones she'll save for Connor, as well. It's been quite the ride, my dear friend, and I'm glad I got to be on it with you! :)

Liked the series so far. Never knew there were so many types of beer before. I always wondered why thy tasted differently :)

Found this. You may like this one. I can imagine Harry having a poster of this in his office :)) /beers-periodic-table

I'm sorry that this story had to end, but it was a good ride while it lasted. I wonder what you have in store for us next. I'm sure it will be as good as all your others.
HGRHfan35 chapter 37 . 10/16/2012
***Without any sense of regret, I could affirm now. Life is good.***

What a wonderful chapter to end this wonderfully exciting, yet romantic story. As per usual, you gave it your all. I know you do extensive research and hubby must have been quite fed up with tasting for you (or not? :D) but know I do appreciate every letter, word, sentence and paragraph.
It has been a roller-coaster but I knew what to expect off you. :D
Thank you so very much my friend. I shall miss the Monday updates. Lots of hugs & kisses.
C.

ps: If you would be so kind to answer my question about this little section; ***I picked one up and tapped it with my wand, making it the perfect forty-eight degrees for drinking.*** Now do you mean 48Fahrenheit? Or 48Celcius. Because 48C to drink is quite hot. . . very hot. . . :) 48 F is 9C so perhaps that is a better temp for beer? But then again. . . I don't drink it either! LOL!

That was tied up rather nicely.
alix33 chapter 37 . 10/15/2012
"It's been a fun fifteen months since I first had this crazy idea of the Marauder's having their own brewery." - "idea of the Marauders having".
"Sunny and I left the dining room, rounded into the hall and then went into what was probably once a ballroom, now a playroom. Lively squealed when she saw her twin and ran over to her. While they could speak a bit, when they were together they reverted to babbles, giggles and mimics. Honestly, there was nothing better than watching and listening to them. Molly had said her twins were the same way. It was nice to think of Fred and have happy thoughts about him and a toddler George plotting away together." - AW!
"they might have salvaged some cake now that the girls have left the table." "They did have a go at it, didn't they?" Earlier, Sunny and Lively were set up at the table and allowed to enjoy the cake all on their own. Smash and mush was a more accurate sight. Icing was all over them, their chairs, the table, the floor, Seph, Charlie and Connor. The last needed to be right there, between his baby sisters, cheering them on." - My little niece was very cross with her mom when my sister smushed her little hands into the icing of her first birthday cake. She most probably whined to have her hands cleaned post haste afterwards, as she has a bit of a thing against dirty (or what she perceives to be dirty) hands.
"The dining room was occupied by the adults who were enjoying the buffet of excellent finger foods prepared by Hannah and her team. There were miniature versions of some of the pub's best sellers, as well as some items she was testing out." - Yum!
"The dark chocolate cake with vanilla marzipan was decadent; Beaghy had outdone herself." - Yum! Yay! for Beaghy's baking skills.
"Seph had planned the party so that everyone could enjoy their mid-day meal with us," - "midday" is one word.
"Even with the new kids and the rapid expansion of the MacPhearson-Weasley clan, Seph and Connor were the mum and little brother I would have had if Dumbledore had let Seph and Sirius adopt me." - AW!
"I changed into the remarkable dress my dorm mates had given me. It was stunning, Ginny; deep amethyst cashmere which caressed the curves of my eighteen-year-old self. If I find it, you can have it. You'd look spectacular in it. My friends also provided the foundation garments of the same deep purple and black lace. Those, sadly, are long gone." "Foundation garment?" I inquired. It dawned on me that it was a discrete way of saying underwear while the words were halfway out of my mouth. "Never mind, just a slow guy here," I admitted. We shared a good laugh, and Ginny gave me a pity kiss, but I wasn't too proud to take it." - That dress and undies sound fantastically beautiful.
"I had a great pair of knee-high black leather boots." - As does the boots.
"my wife mentioned and imagining her in knee-high boots with a significant high heal went right to my manhood." - "significantly high heel".
"Parenting was a mine field." - "minefield" is one word.
"a small amount of pudding appearing on the little ones' plates. "Hey, why do they get their dessert and we don't?" Ron whined and Hermione glared. "You'll get it in a minute as you're old enough to wait," Charlie said as he got to his feet." - Hehehe.
MyGinevra chapter 37 . 10/15/2012
An ending that this wonderful trilogy deserves. You have such a talent for weaving plots and emotions and family history. I do envy it.

Thanks for this and all of your stories.

Like you said in your notes, I too am very sorry to see the end of this story, the whole "beer" series has been wonderful and if it had to end, this was a great note to end it one! I'll continue to follow "Before the Brew" and be hoping that you have another inspiration when that if finially finished. In the mean time, good luck with real life!
