i got an email notification for this and honestly only vaguely remembered this story, but! that meant that i could read from the beginning and have it feel all brand new and it was GREAT! this newest chapter is the best yet, every new section made me feel so tense ahhhh the way you’re combining aspects of canon with your au is working Really well for me, i love it!

Well this is my first time reading Clary x Alex. It never cross my mind until now. i don't think this one would be sooo addicted! Really, im up all night to read this. Dear darling this is so amazing. I love the way you think! Please i wan't to see more.

I damn near had a heart attack from shock and happiness when I saw the update. Then I proceeded to read the new chapter twice and then reread the whole thing all over again...twice. I am overflowing with excitement right now haha. This is one of the select few stories that lingered for me, that I would come back to just to reread my favorite scenes even though I gave up hope of it ever continuing. I hope that you don’t make us wait another 5 years for the next drop, I don’t think my heart would be able to handle it.

Now as for the actual chapter, I just want to see Alec happy! It hurts to see his internal struggle because of the blood rune. And Jace is clearly warming up to Clary which makes me so freaking happy, I just hope he doesn’t warm up too much. Alec and Clary already have so much going on, this love triangle drama would be too much. Lastly, fuck you Jonathan, just fuck you.

First: OMG! YOU'RE BACK! I am so freaking happy right now. This is one of my favorite stories. Especially this Alec/Clary story. You have a true talent girl. And you have done well with this tale.

Second: Yes, people still read ff. There are those who can't tell a good story from a bad one. And then there are those of us who have great tastes in stories, such as this one. So, as I have already said, yes. A lot of people still read ff. Passionately I might add.

Third: Where to begin. I am really hoping that Jonathan did not succeed in raping Clary. But I get the distinct feeling he did. And if he did, then I want to thank you for not writing the details. Aside from that, I want Jonathan to die just for that alone. Other things too of course. But that would be reason enough for Alec to kill him. But with the way Clary is acting, I'd say he was successful. Ugh!
I hope they can find Jocelyn and wake her. Hopefully, she can help stop both Valentine and Jonathan.

Lighter note... I think Jace might be in love with Clary. But that's just me. Who knows?!

Anyway, I hope Alec finds his strength through this tragedy, and that he can find a way to defeat the deadly duo (a.k.a. V & J). They're all going to need to bring them down.

hi! okay, so, fucking hell. I /adore/ this fic. it‘s probably one of my favourite fics ever and I‘m pretty sure that it’s what got me into clary/alec in the first place. I have literally been subscribed since I made this account (2015, I think?) and in that time (until today) I‘m pretty sure I had only received two (2) update emails. I reread this fic all the time. so, imagine my shock when I got an update email after rereading the fic literally /last night/.
