Ok, I cried for the first 6 chapters and laughed like a crazy ol' chick reading the epilogue on the last one :) I can perfectly visualize all characters, the expressione, the voices, just like seing a movie. Sometimes I wonder if a certain scene is something I actually saw in the show or something I read in your fics. They get blurred sometime :) It's no me being kind, it's you being an amazing writer!. Please dont stop writing!

Great ending, also, a very nice play on reactions to a failed mission. Really nicely done.
It'd be interesting to see the reaction to Deeks emotional trauma from their point of view, their internal battle they silently waged.

I can hardly believe this, but I started to cry reading about the bullet going through Deeks' body into the little boy. It is just fiction, I know, but it is so sad. What is it like to be able to write like that?

Sam is one of the wisest, toughest, most challenging characters ever created. He is such an honorable person and I'm glad you write him in such a respectful manner. He recounts with compassion and yet he had a sense of humor and a willingness to share his knowledge. I like Sam a lot and I'm glad that you seem to also.

The Kensi you write is strong, smart, tough, and yet, she is also intuitive to other's feelings and she's so tender. I want to believe that is Deeks' influence on her in your stories. I also like the way you write her as respectful of him.

I loved Austin the first time you we about him. That he is trying to help Deeks by sharing his own harrowing experience makes me respect him even more.
