I loved this story and it's prequel. :) I was really sad when Regulus died, but Rigel made up for it. He is absolutely adorable. For a teenager.

I do feel like I might have missed something? I was expecting a grand reveal about who Rigel's dad was, then after the battle people started referring to him and his mom as Blacks. People who I thought were not in the know (Holly, her family, Rigel's friends) didn't react to it. Did the family tell everyone at some point?

I absolutely loved it. I actually haven't read the prequel, but I will definitely be reading it soon. This story was everything I could have hoped for. You did a great job with the characters and bringing out a side of Severus that we didn't get to see in cannon. I was a little freaked by Sev torturing Rigel, and I sort of felt that even with the apology there wasn't enough closure, but I think some of that was just coming from my own feelings rather than what the characters would have felt. Also my only real criticism would be that Rigel acts much younger than he is at times. I've never been through a war or really seen there effects on people, but I would have thought that would have made him more solom or something, because he isn't really immature, just really hyper and bouncy. Like I said I don't really know that much about it and I don't think his character was unbelievable or anything, it was jsut something i noticed, so I thought I'd put it in here.
Anyway, great story. I can't wait to read your others.
