I read this a while ago and simply wished to let you know how much I enjoyed it. Some lovely character touches and a gripping plot. Very well done:-)

Thaddeus: I can't believe I never reviewed this story! This was the very first Hogan's Heroes story I read on this site. I was immediately hooked! You did a fantastic job on this one, as you do on all your stories.

Fabulous. Absolutely fabulous. I'm always game for some good Newkirk-Misuse and this fit the bill perfectly. I love how bits of his personality and character came through even though he wasn't exactly himself. (I actually gasped when he cracked that safe without realizing what he was doing!) And I love how you tied all the guys' friendship up into a neat little package. (Especially the picture you gave us at the end when LeBeau came back from his mission.). Thank you for sharing this with us!

Marlene Schneider Klink sounds like a nice name for Frau Klink. Anyhow, wed Hogan to Marya, and one has just about the greatest marriage in all of Stalag 13's history. LOL!

Berta sounds like spousal material for Carter.

Sounds like Otto is already in the fire and brimstone of H-E-double-toothpicks. Hochstetter is on a one way course to Alcatraz. So, it's only reasonable if Hogan weds Marya.

Kinchloe, Carter, LeBeau, Newkirk, and Schultz would be the ushers, or groomsmen as too many fancy folks prefer to label them. Klink is the bestman. And, the newlyweds are Hogan & Marya.

Hochstetter is a truly evil man. He deserves no less than Alcatraz for serving time for war crimes. Anyway, how about a "HOGAN'S HEROES" wedding story in which Hogan's the groom, and the pretty Marya is his bride in a postwar ceremony after the German surrender?

That was a good and well-written story and I enjoyed reading it.

I have just read this whole story in one evening and it was a huge pleasure - every chapter. I loved the story so much and you write such great dialogue. There wasn't a single part of this that felt stilted or forced like in some stories - it was great. I really hope you write more Hogan's Heroes stories, they're such a pleasure to read! Especially since the ones you've done so far have all featured Newkirk and Lebau and their friendship and that is my favourite thing about Hogan's Heroes!
