Well I'm not too familiar with the first Legend of Zelda, but I am familiar with some of the dialogue and locations, and this has done well in my opinion. Keep it up!

Whoa! I'm excited for this! I must say, Link has quite a different personality, but that's what makes it great. I love your references to the very first game; they're very concise and don't clutter the story, but they're there just enough to be noticeable. Good work; keep writing!
