Interesting plot! I like how you're keeping everyone nearly in-character. I just have to say that you're such an amazing writer and all of your stories are worth reading! As I've stated before in a previous review in a different story, I hope one day you find the time to update your stories, and if not then so be it. Anyway, hope everything is going well for you. I like this new and interesting direction.

Of all the characters in the setting, you had to have fucking Tsunade giving Sakura a speech on not wallowing in pain and ignore one's duty? Fucking Tsunade, really?
She's usually written as pretty arrogant and childish about her AWOL period, but this level of shamelessness or self-unawareness is way too extreme.
Good fic aside from that.

This story is great. Wish there was more. Only, why does Sakura still seem weaker? it seems she hasn’t changed at all. Especially emotionally.

This story is amazing simply because I see it as plausible. You keep everyone nearly in character with their canon counterparts while allowing for the narrative to show the subtle differences between the two. Your Naruto is one of the best renditions I have read in all of Fanfiction. You didn't make him this brooding badass Sasuke 1.5, you kept him his lovable, loyal, and determined self. He's more capable but still really naive, somewhat immature, and sweet. Your Naruto is what everyone wanted in canon. Your Sasuke feels so desperate and lost, I'm just so compelled to see what he does, especially with his 'light' still around him. Your Sakura...I love you for what you did to her. Intelligent and tough but still that mostly caring girl. No one feels OP, there's no bashing. I love this story and I hope you revisit it one day, but if not, I want to say thank you for putting this story out into the web for us all to see.

This is getting boring. But I don't think it's the fic that's at fault. I think this 'slow' type of fic just isn't meant for me.
