Reviews for Even the King
Guest chapter 1 . 3/16/2014
NICE JOB WITH LESTRADE'S REACTION!
O.T.M chapter 1 . 5/5/2012
This is the second time I've read this story. The first was several weeks prior to this, but it never left my mind. The title fits incredibly with what its about. "Even the king" Even Lestrade tries to cover up his grief with the lie. I couldn't this out of my head for the last few weeks and I decided I would read it again one day.

What prompted me to however was a conversation with my sister about how clever the director was, and I thought how do I show her at least one example of an extraordinary talent combined with Sherlock. And I thought of this.

I was moved to tears, everyone was in character, the pace was just right and when I read it I could actually imagine what it would look like if it was part of the episode.

I can't congratulate you enough! I look around this site and I read so many fics, most of them don't sick in mind like yours. I believe that you are one of the best authors I will ever have the pleasure to read.

Thank you for putting your work on-line.
Marsupial Madness chapter 1 . 4/26/2012
You are a champion writer. I am completely jealous of your writing style. It is perfection.

Thank you so much for writing this. It is completely fantastic.
Y.K.Willstone chapter 1 . 4/16/2012
Will you continue the story? Because its really good.
forgetmenotjimmy chapter 1 . 4/15/2012
Wow, excellent fic! Lestrade's inner struggle and Sherlock's death triggering him to shield himself with the lie, really clever. I imagine that John would need to tell someone and you wrote the first reaction really well, bravo!

:D
Ju Lara chapter 1 . 4/9/2012
Really gut wrenching. Very sad, most impressive.
Giraffes Sent Me chapter 1 . 4/8/2012
Oh this was very very good. "Heartbreaking" dosen't even begin to cover this. I'm searching for an adequate adjective to go into this review but I can't find any (possibly because my brain is still in grief-shock after reading this story). "Chillingly precise", "cruel beauty" and "sob-worthy" spring to mind. In short: I can't make a worthy review. Just rest assured that this is good. Really good.
Natalie Nallareet chapter 1 . 4/8/2012
Maybe I'm still way to emotional about this-like that's going to get better ever-but you've succeeded at making me sob AGAIN.
