Beast Boy's not a killer. I thought he would kill Brion then and there, but the fact that he didn't, shows that he's not a killer. Brion is a killer, and speaking as a psychologist I wonder how he sleeps at night with all the different faces that loom up at him from the dark, reminding him of his selfishness when he doesn't have the ability to shield it with his "for the greater good" stuff...wow, okay, psychologist switch...off!

it was nice to see a tender moment between Raven and Beast Boy. it's been dark for so long it's like finally getting a glimpse of light, and that my friend is a beautiful way to write a story

War had already come. Brion instigated it and by choosing to kill an innocent life and using espionage to do it (not to mention kidnapping Terra who is a legal American citizen) he had already instigated a war. it just took longer to realize it was happening...man, I really need to stop paying attention in History class :p anyway, war is here and the only I thing I know is that Beast Boy is going to kill Brion.

If I recall correctly, Terra and Brion were only half siblings. Terra was the King's illegitimate daughter and thus was not royalty.

Nevertheless, I do like the alternate backstory you are giving them.

One thought that crosses my mind ... where is Slade? He always seems to hover around Terra, both in the old comics and the show.

Hmmm ... Brion is a fool. The US could nuke Markovia into oblivion. Even with his powers he's no match. Then again, it won't get that far, the Titans are going to clean his clock.
