This is my first venture into fanfiction other than Supernatural. I enjoyed your story very much. Although obviously she would never kill him, I can see this scene clearly in my head, and I can totally see Deb drawing her gun at that moment. It's definitely something she would do.

Personally, while I agree with everyhting you write about what Harry taught Debra, the simple fact is: Dexter is her last living family (not counting her nephew).

There is no way in hell she is going to shoot.

I'm crying, okay? This was so good and realistic. But also so tragic.

I know Dexter will probably die by the end of the show, but nothing can possibly prepare me for it.
