This story is quite good. I like the info you've gathered & attention to detail, with things like Korir being a Free-Winter, etc. You've consistently misspelled Haafingar throughout the story and Thongvor's name until the last chapter. I would enjoy it if you continued this story.

The troubles of using a mobile interface left my review incomplete. Plus I can't review Ch. 10 again, but anyway, picking back up:

As mentioned, there were grammar issues, luckily decreasing in quantity with each chapter, but other than that, my only issue would have to be that now and then the POVs seem unclear, mostly in the case of Vignar's nephew. Now admittedly, I haven't met him or his brother in-game in a while, so I don't have the most well-defined image of them in my mind going in, and it would have been helpful if more description of them was provided. Of course, I can remedy this myself by looking the characters up, but I think there's still plenty of reason to go more in-depth, offer the same treatment afforded Tullius or Leonara.

So those are my constructive criticisms. My final impressions: you've left me wondering where the DB will go, what's next for Kvatch(?), how/when the other provinces will come into play (it seems like it has to happen,) and overall, I'm looking forward to more. Keep at it, one of the best I've read in a while!

What an excellent story. The grammar errors that were common in the first chapter were almost totally gone by the tenth, showing great improvement; if you don't already have a beta, getting one could really perfect your style. Speaking of, you have a very literary vocabulary, and I was able to overlook the grammar errors early on because you really know how to tell a story compellingly, perfect grammar or not. This is probably one of the most impactful fics I've read, and devouring the chapters left me with a real sense of unease - and the story being set amidst such chaos, I'd call this the mark of immersive writing. The bits and pieces of foreshadowing at the beginning of sections were also great, and I feel like this already huge fic is going to be larger than life when it reaches the point where Talia ascends to godhood.

I must say 'thank you' for writing this; it was not exactly what I had been looking for, but it embraced almost all the elements of a general post-Skyrim war/politics story that could be asked for. I had thought there to be a great many stories plying such rich narrative waters, especially given the great popularity of Skyrim as evidenced by the massive modding community. Imagine my surprise when I found out how pithy the actual fanfic archives for Skyrim actually were.

I was afraid I would not find any story of the sort I desired, but near the end of my search, finally saw this recommended in another forum thread. To my delight, it soothed my itch on the subject, even incomplete as it is. I will watch, and wait, to see if it continues.
