What a great way to begin the story. I have high hopes for this fanfic, seeing as I absolutely loved the first one.

Hooray, I finally read this, thereby wrapping up reading all the entries for Spring 2012 Olympics. \o/

What a neat world to dump them in - to have all the potential fluff, romance, and of course angst. I like how there were plenty of foreshadowing to come (most certainly Tokyo) - such as Rain/Syaoran trying to help save Fall/Fai (and in Tokyo, Fai tries to...but well you know the rest); Aught/Sakura setting things right. Even if this fic is set earlier in canon, it was a nice world to reveal their honesty and affection.

The scene when Fai rips off his dark wings was so powerful. Oh Fai ;_;

"But something had been formed between them in these weeks, something that Fai couldn't wish away and he couldn't easily break. Fai had been honest, at the last, when he'd confessed his misery and terror. And Kurogane had not lied when he'd promised to protect and support him.

He'd remember that promise, even if Fai wouldn't."

My favorite set of lines, perhaps, because of obvious KuroFai feels.

love it! love the mystery of it all! and it was kinda shocking? disappointing? that Sakura's feather was in the well along. I mean a feater scared the crap out of Fai? maybe i was expecting some big bad monster at the bottom of the well. :D

my favorite part will just have to be that KISS and when their memories returned just right then. damn too bad it wasn't an hour later, ne Kurogane? ;D Although i am bit sad that it ended just like this. I was hoping for more of Kurogane and Fai pursuing the kiss. :D

Nontheless, i still love the story! brillantly well written!

amazing. It was like a fairy tale of some sort, but not one where everything has its happy ending - rather a realistic one, though still filled with this entrancing, dream-like atmosphere. And just as a fairy tale it had its kind of moral - that not remembering the problem doesn't equal being free from pain, and that the absence of pain isn't the same as being happy. At least that's my interpretation.
Reading this was wonderful, like going on an adventure to a different,yet similar world, and into characters' minds. Fantastic work! Thank you for this!

Aaaah LoL Fai and Kurogane's reaction where their memories return mid-hug -fangirl blush- so cute. I am happy because I know this is just the first step in their relationship which will grow and blossom later in the canon time line hehehe XD

You did such a beautiful job with the haibane world! I really have to go back and watch this anime again.

Very nicely done. I really like the way you've ended this story. Giving Sakura her time to shine as she listened and asked and was able to break the memory binds that kept them where they were. And she found Mokona! No story is complete without that little fellow. :3

I like how you had everyone "recovering" from the memory regaining so differently, but very in character.

Damn it, Sakura. Why? Kurogane and Fai were about to...! Well, at least Fai isn't dying anymore. It's a shame though that nothing happened even though they're aware SOMETHING is happening.

It was a fantastic story, as usual. I will go check out the Canon vs. AU Olympics and see for myself. In all fairness, I want to see the other stories and pick. Either way, best of luck and, as always, thanks for the awesome story.

Kyan, they got together! Now I want to know if this is Tei first kiss or if they were together before they landed in this world. I am so relieved, Fai really seemed desperate.

It is so interesting, all the things you explained about the haibane (I really need to read this manga now...). I wonder if now Fai's wings will turn white? That would be sad too, after Syaoran tried so hard to scale the wall. The way you wrote his "punishment"... Wow... The wall taking his entire mind...

oh no, Syaoran! I hope he gets better soon, because I hate to think of him like this. For Sakura not to remember him is one thing, but for him not to remember her- or anything at all- is too much.

And Fai is blaming himself. As always. Even though it isn't his fault. You write his panicked mindset so well.

Now Sakura is running off into the woods. What a vicious cycle. But she would be able to make it work, so we can only hope that things go well for her.

My favorite bit of the chapter was the scene with Sakura talking to the wind.
