I was unsure if I would enjoy the premise of this story, but I'm very glad I gave it a read. Well done.

I finished reading and started to clap, just like that. I admit it was a very silent clap, my mom and my brother are in the other room and they already think I'm a bit crazy for reading so much fanfiction without adding that, but I did clap.

AMAZING story really, original, well-written, the personalities are believable even if the background story is terribly different from canon (more so in Shep's case)...

And then I read the author's note saying there is a sequel and I almost wanted to dance, lol. So I'll be on my way to read it and if I have time review that part a bit more comprehensively, but I didn't want to leave this part without properly applauding your work.

This is the most awesome amazing story I have ever had the honor of reading. I usually only read Twilight fanfic, but a little birdie told me about this amazing story that would help me see people in a new and amazing way. This chapter has changed my life. I think I want to be a whore now.

I loved this story sooo much it was really good, I couldn't stop reading it :)

I tore through this story. It was brimming with interesting perspective and characterization. A lot of the imagery was cringe-worthy (as I'm sure you), and the care and gentleness you give to your characters is awesome. I love naive, heroic Garrus turning into something more. I love how Shepard interacted with the other characters. I liked how she was both kind and pragmatic where Garrus was concerned, and how you didn't use cliches to define the relationship. This was something special. Different. But with a familiarity in that you can recognize the characters. It's not good vs evil (or a pious attitude vs an over-aggressive-angry-for-no-reason attitude) that defines your characters, but their senses of humor and fundamental Shepard-and-Garrus-ness. Garrus is still awkward and cocky and sweetly charming. Shepard is still honest, pithy, and funny in her sarcastic way. Great job!

She opened up to him about her past, that was very unexpected and I'm sure very hard for her to recall all the bad things that have happened to her over the last ten years. They are getting along just great, despite the differences in their backgrounds and beliefs. I sense that something bad will happen soon, it always does when things are getting all nice like this.

Seems that Garrus and Shepard are starting to develope a budding relationship together. I like the different clients that she has, why the hell would she fuck one? Is she trying to split her vag down to her asshole? Lol. The kink with the Asari was more humorous than sexual to me, never was the type to get off on dominatrix-type sex, but oh well.

I have a bad feeling about Aria in the future.
