I love Ginny and Harry together. They will always be my favorite HP couple. I am glad that you are maturing tjeir relationship. I think alot of what would have made them work is what happened in Ginny's sixth year. She became a natural leader and went out of her way, even if it meant her being tortured, to protect the younger students. That made her made her more equal to Harry. Without that, it would make sense that both would have to face Harry's role in the world and would cause bumps in their relationship.

As a genealogist: Since the common ancestor of Harry and the Greengrass sisters is their great-grandparents, that makes them second cousins.
