This is so precious and I wanna hold this fic forever. Caroline travelling the world, finding herself, bumping into Klaus, Klaus chasing her... All of these are everything I wanted. There's not a single aspect of it that isn't flawless. I even loved side of Stebekah. This was so awesome and I loved so many lines in this but especially this: 'It occurs to her later that she hadn't said a word to him, and she doesn't know why, but it gives her a small sense of satisfaction, knowing he's wondering about her right now, just like she's wondering about him.' They WONDER about each other and isn't that just grand?! And oh my god the Rome part made me go breathless. It was sooooo good. Stefan giving her the most great pep talk regarding Originals was great. Your version of Stefan is my headcanon Stefan not the current one who is romancing with Caroline (UGH) His words about eternity bringing things into perspective seemed so fitting. As well as the part where Klaus wipes his thumb was just so sensual and electrifying. He loves her. They are gonna give it a chance and it's the best. x |
