I'm with CrlkSeason on the indignation about the Doctor's behaviour. You took that deeply felt look of hurt we see briefly in Tom in that corridor scene when he confronts the EMH, and turned it into a plausible, well-written story. Nicely done.

I was somewhat annoyed that the Doctor so obviously used the physical parameters of his friends as templates for the characters in his novel. This is a thoughtful exploration of the possible effect that seeing himself interpreted as Lieutenant Marseille might have on Tom.
