Chapter 19. I know I'm way behind on the reviewing here...but seriously? Recruiting thanet and samara and they're both like "yep let's join the suicide mission led by the woman who is in the medbay because a couple of eclipse bested her!" Its ridiculous at best and leans more strongly toward terrible. Thane I could MAYBE see joining, because hes going to die anyways, however he makes it clear hes not suicidal either so he probably wouldn't, and samara definitely wouldn't join, she would believe that her hunt of corinth is too important to risk following such an inept commander. It's really disappointing to see so many fanfic writers use shep getting injured as some sort of plot device, when, post resurrection she is essentially a super solider, needing to only kneel behind cover for a few seconds for several bullet wounds to be healed by her nanites. I just really do t get why you would even want to do this to her? Like I get being upset about liara, but there are plenty of better ways to show that than having a seasoned, well trained spec-ops soldier zone out during combat. It's completely unrealistic.
