Wow - perfect insight! It never occurred to me to connect Carter's question to the Mexican jailer about other Americans incarcerated there to whatever happened to Peter, and John actually not killing him. That gave me a lot of comfort and I really hope that one issue will be revealed in canon too. Thanks for a very poignant write.

Beautifully done. Very melancholy, but with a little bit of hope, or at least closure of sorts, at the end.

This was wonderfully done! It felt so real, and true to the characters, and I loved the journey of the photo and the parallels between Reese and Carter. In fact, I loved every bit of it.
