I love this pairing. You did a great job turning what went wrong into a believable way they can make their relationship work - which I imagine would be especially tough during that time period.

I believe this may be the very first Edward x Carlisle fic that I've ever read. I don't read much slash, but I've read a few. This one shot was really quite wonderful. I had to read it twice.

First, people have been doing 'gay' acts for hundreds of years, love is love. Also, S.M has given permission for fiction writers to use her characters freely.
