Very cute story! The atmosphere build up is good as it depicts the characteristics of children: innocent, naivety, curiosity, a bit of mischievousness, and most important, full of hope. Also, it's quite brave of you to venture out/experimenting with different partners for Lucy. :D Your command of English is good and I didn't see any problems with the grammar.

In my opinion, there's no need for a second chapter. This fic being a one-shot is already enough as it is. :"3
