I love this chapter. I love how Caine's have these regrets and how he doesn't like how things turned out. I probably would too if I was in this situation.

Does Drake Merwin have a soul? Cause you sure just gave him one... It would be interesting to see how this plays out. I also like your style. The terse feel really fits Drake and Gone in general. Okay, it's a little unbelievable that Drake would feel sorry for what he's done and transform like Orc did, but you wrote it so well, I'm willing to suspend belief and see where it goes. Go for it!

Love your idea although I have to say you got a few things wrong, Drake doesn't need to eat or drink he's dead. And Him, Diana and the Gaiaphauge ran off in the same place they were together, the Gaiaphauge still needs Drake it wouldn't leave him Diana simply ran after her. And I'm not sure but when you say Sam was shouting to a mother was it Connie it felt like he was yelling at Diana. Otherwise I really want you to update I'd liek to see where this is going hopefully you'll have some of my favorite characters update soon!
