This is probably a weird thing to compliment, but I love the title and summary for this story. They work well together and peaked my interest (that entire fireside conversation in The Beach" has really stuck with me), and I'm always impressed when that happens, probably because I kind of suck at coming up with titles and summaries myself.

Anyway, as for the writing itself, I really enjoyed how you explored so many different facets of Mai. It's so well done, and every stroke taken together paints a full picture. My favorites were 10, 16, and 21.

So cute. And funny! I love fanfics written with prompts, and this one is particularly good. I especially love "Unexpected" so funny. Keep up the good work!

OMG. Best. Maiko. Story. Ever. I mean it. It's so sweet, and I can imagine Mai and Zuko doing all that. Even the shouting at each other bit :) The only part I can't really picture is 16, but, well, I like it anyway. I adore 10, and I love the entire thing. How do you get the ideas for all these? And weave the fluffiness into words? You're amazing. Good job!

I think my favorite one is 13 "Spark". (I actually think it could apply to a Zuko/Katara pairing.) I also like 23 "Fearless", and 31 "Cause", and 35 "Desire."

There was only one thing that I thought could be improved: I think that the clauses in "Dance" should be reversed: "Mai was less than enthusiastic …"
