A very sweet ending for Lena and Enrico now that they can finally be a family with Marco, thanks to Ed and a miracle or two.

Thank you for writing such an enjoyable story. What a ride you took me on and now sadly it has reached a conclusion. I hope you will write more Ed stories. You write him so well.

Wow what an explosive chapter! Love the fight scene between Ed and Pozzi. You captured the turmoil of emotions the Chief went through as he finds Ed in a bad state - great job!

And the wheels are in motion...great team work. Very nice chapter showing how much Ed and Enrico meant to those willing to give and do anything to get them back safely.

Fab story - I think Ed is the strongest character to be honest so I am more than happy to read loads of Ed! Well written - thanks for sharing.

This was a powerfully descriptive chapter detailing Ed's physical and emotional struggle to pull himself together and get back on his feet so he can save Enrico. I was cheering him on as he dragged himself closer to the note.

I admire Ed's courage and determination. Poor guy though. I sense from the end of that chapter that he is going to be hurt even more now. It's been some time since I have been reading this story but I still remember it :-)

Very nice! I like the observation, especially coming from Ironside.

Nice! I like the parallels you draw between the two characters - they're probably my favorite part of the whole story so far.

It's a good thing Ed likes mathematics! You're very clever to have created all these little puzzles and brain-teasers - math has never been my favorite subject, and I admire those who can play well with numbers.

You're making me like Ed more and more! Though if I were he, I would have tried to get the officer on the line to go find someone who knew him. But that could have taken a long time, and he was having enough trouble standing up by then as it was, so I'll forgive him for that ;-)

"Sir, my child has been abducted. The last thing I care about now is coffee."

I quite liked that! She's got a bit of a sense of humor, even in the face of all this trouble, and she's polite even while this worried.

You have me intrigued so far, though I won't even try to solve the code because I'm too eager to read what happens next :-)

He didn't want to hurt others because he was hurt – never ever. As much as he adored and understood Chief Ironside – he wouldn't end up like him: Bad-tempered, irritable and seemingly never satisfied with those around him.

Wow - I found that really insightful! I like how you've really dug into what Ed would be worrying about now that his fears of paralysis have faded - worries no less heavy, but impossible to share. Nicely done.
