I’m not even done the story yet but just have to say how much I love the Buffy quotes at the beginning of each chapter!

THIS WAS EVERYTHING! It was violent and painful and so so sweet. You really know how to write emotional turmoil. And I'm so glad that you let Klaus show this tempestuous monster side of him that even he himself can't fully control, and showing that Caroline is starting to know how to handle that. This whole reunion scene is just...wow.

These last two chapters are heartbreaking. But they are also perfect because yes, Caroline needs to work out all these issues. They have such an unbalanced power relation and I like how you don't avoid writing about how Caroline is afraidmaybe of him, maybe of their relationship. But it's supposed to be a bumpy road and it's great that you didn't make it easy for them. It's something worth fighting for anyway. Btw, love the Mikaelson family dynamics.

Their hide-and-seek in the closet is just...adoooooorable! Klaus is such a dork lol. And I love Caroline in this chapter. She's open and bold and sometimes downright cheeky, cutely so. Her telling Klaus he looked beautiful? That was gold. And the car seductress scene is so hot and Caroline shone like her diamond necklace really. But sometimes she's still inexperienced and insecure and would get minor nervous breakdowns right before sex which only moments ago she was more than on board with, and I just adore her for that. For all her sides and all her quirks. And I know Klaus would feel the same way, if not more so.

Oh and the Mikaelson family game night is awesome. Klaus helping Caroline cheat to beat Elijah will forever own my heart with its adorable-ness.

Eeeeeeee that last sentence isn't that the sweetest thing ever! And I really loved the car accident scene. It just put such a poetic end to Caroline's grieving and also her lingering ties to her past. She could live with her humanity even if the world is a dark place full of tears and tragedies and her monster is roaring under her skin. But it's also vast and beautiful and when she wiped away the tears and tucked away the monster she could see the sunset from a bridge in Paris. And she had someone to go home to. It's simply inspired.

"The world is your teacher." I love how you portrayed Klaus and his immortality. And it's a lovely dynamic how Caroline brings out so much difference in him, like one minute he's this all powerful thousand year old being but suddenly he's rendered speechless like a high school boy because the girl he fancied happens to fancy him back and he just needs to "get over himself". These little moments are so sweet.

"you are so overwhelmingly here" is possibly the most beautiful love confession I've ever heard. That whole scene is beyond perfect.
