This guy's definitely one of my favorite characters. His reaction when Lahar told him, in canon, that they were alive was so sweet - and it was even better in this fanfiction! He's just got such a good heart, y'know? And it's so hard not to love him, because I'm always feeling sorry for him...

Liked it a lot, especially the idea of Lucy's Father and him working together to support Fairy Tail
and i also love the way you are playing with his two names and parts of his personality because i think, that describes him really well. He may has never been an official member of FT but it looks like its impossible to meet those guys and just walk away.

I loved this. I understand what you mean; I liked him as Mest, too. I can definitely see him thinking like this. Great job.

But this sums up what I thought of Mest/ Doranbolt during the 7 years. I also liked the idea that he sent them half his pay check...

To me, I will always see him as Mest, of Fairytail.

Anyway, I loved the story, the way you wrote it, the idea that Judo and Mest were working together... Brilliance! Hilarious at times and serious at others.

Plus the cliff-hanger ending really grabs you and kinda makes you shiver. ;)

I've always thought of Mest as being a part of Fairy Tail, even after knowing he was a magic counsel member in disguise. In the end, he truly wanted to help them! And the scene of him crying at the Grand Magic Tournament...

Anyway, this is lovely! I love the point of view, especially how you made Mest really a part of the guild...even if it was for just a short time (and recent events too!).

Simply beautiful. A stunning piece of writing, it very much engages the reader with Mest. I also feel that he is wrongfully vindicated in fan fiction when canon material shows that just because of his original intentions, he exhausted himself transporting people to Tenrou to aid the fight. He also bought time for them.

The concept of Mest/Doranbolt aiding Fairy Tail was one that I believed highly likely. I'm ecstatic to see another writing highly enjoyable one-shots that I can read. It is these insights into characters on how they view events that I adore.

idk but i thought the ending was fine. i actually liked how you ended to be honest. it's very realistic lol. love how everything played out, showing what was going on during the seven years...and the eclipse plan? i can't wait to see it lol

The story was really good, I am anticipating the next chapter. Actually, I have hated Doranbolt/Mest until he realised he did care for Fairy Tail but now I have gotten to like him and you hage made me like him even more!
