Good story overall. There are a few glitches. For instance, the sentence: It may have been about finding information at first but – but after a while I found myself drawn to me... doesn't make sense. I suspect you meant to write ...myself drawn to you... Perhaps some proof-reading will benefit your writing and make a more polished story.
