It's a great story, but there are too many inconsistencies for me to continue. It was a week later, but the wound was still bleeding and Tony said it was yesterday. He's at high risk for infection, but the next day they don't need sterile clothes. Ducky's a doctor, but doesn't think 103 fever warrants going back to the hospital. Love the plot and characterizations, but I have to stop now.

Serves them right. What did they expect would happen, forcing the meeting on Tim when he is still sick. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. Ducky especially should have known better.

No responsible adult, much less a doctor, would force such a traumatized and seriouly ill patient into a group meal and emotion-laden discussion. It's ridiculous to think it could happen.

Love the story so far. Just my quick take on Sarah McGee - she was recently cleared of murder by the people she is currently dissing...she's referring to Tony as Tommy, so she's viewing him through Tim's book...and even though Tim's spoken highly of his team, she can 'tell by his eyes' that that's not the case. Can't blame her for being upset that her brother is in the hospital, but in regards to her, IMHO, very weakly developed opinions and conclusions, she seems a bit off the wall. People aren't comprised solely of long-distance perceptions, which seems to be how she's judging the people here. Abby though-she's probably spot on with her perceptions...

Great story

My friend, I was blown away by your writing.. I read all those pages without a beat.. I was soo happy that Tim gave them time enough to realize what will happen when he isn't around, how they took for granted his loyalty without thinking about his feelings.. And making him fall in love with a decent woman .. One thing that I didn't like though : why kill Sarah ? I mean, if you wanted a reason for one of them to come see McGee, you could kill his father.. Frankly I wouldn't mind reading the bastard admiral getting killed...

Ooh it was such a pleasure to read them talk to Abby that way, showing her how much a bitch she had been towards Tim.. And especially when Sarah and Ziva hit her, I sometimes had the same urge while watching some of the episodes where Abby mistreated him.. And finally Tim himself spitting his feelings towards Tony after all these years of torture ! I don't understand why he writers of the show make Tim mistreated all the time, nobody in the team standing for him ,this isn't funny at all !

Hey, McGeeklover, I'm a McGee-and Sean Murray-fan too and I'm one of those who hated Abby's attitude towards tim.. She was a real bitch and I don't know why he still talked to Abby after the way she treated him, made fun of him while the dog was growling at him.. I love animals and I hate those who hurt them, but when it comes to a human defending him/herself from an attacking dog I surely care for the human first… If it was me I would never ever talk to her unless she apologized to me on her knees… Plus she forced him to pay for flowers for the dog-such a stupid thing since it wouldn't understand the meaning of flowers like we do-and forced him to take the dog.. I don't know why the writers make her treat McGee so cruelly.. And Tony's joke was so cruel too...
