Reviews for James the Just
BubblesL chapter 1 . 6/22/2015
A sensitive but illuminating sketch which studies how James could have felt at that time and how his upbringing in that environment effected him personally.

Clearly a well thought out piece. I think that the repetition, sudden rhymes and word play at the end are useful for gauging James' state of mind or distractedness at the situation as well as providing a summary of how he might be viewing what had happened and the people from his childhood.

Thank you.

Wow. Really impressive that you've got a double drabble set up. And I love the deadly cold feeling you're left with at the very end. Really well done.
Song of Grey Lemons chapter 1 . 12/25/2012
This was... God, this was good and scary at the same time. The second section is a bit haunting, with the rhyming and 'lies' bit.
Excellent piece, Lindenharp.

Genius, actually.

You managed to convey in 200 words what others never manage to do, blathering in 20,000 words.

More!

Really nicely done! It helps explain missing parts of the episode and really stays with you once you read it.

I like this very much. There's so much that goes unspoken in "Dead of Winter" and I'm glad you've done something to rectify that. Thank you so much.

Thus drabble is a great example how to say all with only few words. Love it!
