Poor Kirkwall mages and the ones from stakhaven win no Hawke and Anders or Mage underground to help them. Cullen mages aren't people Cullen lol wouldn't count on him . The chantry and Templars were no better than Tevinter at this time. Um didn't Greagor call for the circle to be annulled aka kill all he mages doesn't sound like a good man to me. The abuse of power by the chantry and Templars is disgusting. If they really cared they could have trained the citizens on anti magic Templar techniques and have the Templars stations in very village and city like the regular gaurds but must treat everyone including mages equally. And the circles are actually used only for learning not locking mages up and mags are treated as normal citizens.

First off I understand it's an AU and therefore the timelines are off. Who cares! It's an amazing story! You are a really good writer, I hope you write some more Dragon age fanfics.

This is pretty good, even though the time line is pretty much entirely skewed, but I can understand why that would have to be done.

This a very interneting twist to the game it self. i like it. and i don't read dragon age stories often bt i cnt wait for u next update.

Now there is a Champion's drive, it's really too bad the mage-Templar war isn't going to be handled like Awakenings to give Hawke an epic and complete story arc. Yours deels very right (and I'm beginning to doubt Bioware will have as integrated a story as this) bravo!

Full bore tragedy there, continuing the proud tradition of crap on Hawke. I admit I was hoping to miss that thread. While this is a better reason for why the Wardens are not very evident in DA2, I think they work better as lynchpins than the Chantry for storytelling.
