It's a nice one-shot. You did a really good job. If you hadn't written so, I would have never figured this is your first Batman fic.

I try to live my life by the Golden Rule, "Do unto other as you would have them do unto you." Therefore, I try to leave a review on every fanfic I read. But yours was such a joy that this review is not simply an obligation, but a pleasure! I absolutely loved it! Your Bruce was so good (very lovable!) and his inner diologue was super funny! And Alfred! The 'ole rascal! Everyone was in character and the plot was sweet, simple, and to the point. Well done!

Stomach wounds? I'm pretty sure they bleed enough with all those veins, arteries and organs down there.
And, yes, it was clear enough (and, please, name one hero who isn't concerned for his loved wellbeings!

Also, on stomach wounds and how much they bleed: it would depend. How big was the bullet? Did it go all of the way through? What did it hit? Some organs-spleen especially-literally store blood. But he would have had to go to a hospital for treatment on that, and he still might have died.

I like the premise, but perhaps a wound in a different spot would have been better. Stomach wounds are bad, often fatal, and they have an unfortunate tendency to go septic anyway if the weapon or bullet nicks any organs. The also take faaar longer than a few days to heal. A wound in a limb, though you risk hitting an artery, is at least one that a person could more easily move around with, without too much further aggravation. (and less chance of death)
Aside from that, decent fic overall. But I'm a sucker for h/c :D

Lo-lo-lo-lo-love it! I love those "Gordon finds out who Batman is" -fics and it was interesting to look into Bruce' head this time (cause usually thery're from Gordons point of view)
I just wish it was longer...or you had more Batman stuff! ;)

Haha, I liked that little ending- "Human my ass." Hahha, only the Batman could marvelously exit like that, and he knows it. Enjoyed the read.
