First of all, let me just say that I find you to be a very talented writer. You are a true story teller and the scenes you describe are so vivid, I can picture every single one in my head. That is a rare talent.

I seriously debated writing this review to you. I despise when people leave horrible hate reviews, and honestly just as much when people leave critical reviews that point out any imperfection or anything they don't care for. I believe in encouraging people, and I honestly want to do that for you.

I have one question (maybe issue) with something that your write fairly consistently though. In most every sex scene, you comment on the amount of pain the person bottoming feels. I'm conflicted and, quite frankly put off by this.

Now, if this is just the way you prefer to write slash, with a pain kink, then that is entity your prerogative. Far be it from me to tell you how you should write and what your story should be about. If I don't like something I generally just stay away. The problem is that I love everything else about your stories so much, that I've tried until now to ignore the comments of pain during sex.

I guess what I'm wondering, is if you realize that pain is not/does not have to be a part of anal sex. Yes, obviously it will be a bit painful the first time and as you adjust, just as with vaginal sex. I am a sexually active gay male, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, feeling pain is not a turn on in the slightest. We don't desire to feel pain along with pleasure. Also, when you do it properly and you become used to it, it doesn't hurt at all. You don't want it to hurt. When you stretch and use tons of lube and stimulate the prostate properly it is purely enjoyable. There is a slight stinging stretch and a feeling of extreme fullness, but it doesn't hurt and burn all the time. If it does then you're doing something wrong.

That leads to one other thing. You have them doing it without lube. That absolutely cannot happen. It would be incredibly painful and you would most likely hurt your partner very badly. Some spit or some water or very poor substitutes and only work for a tiny bit of fingering.

I hope you didn't find this hurtful, because I genuinely didn't mean for it to be, but I see so many misconceptions when it comes to MM fanfiction, and when it comes to someone who is truly talented like you I want to share the truth so that you can write appropriately.

Again though, I know a lot of girls (and arrogant asshole gay men who only top) are into reading about pain kinks. If that is what you're aiming to write then it is entirely up to you. Your story your choice. I just couldn't stand by and not say anything though.
