This story is fantastic! I've always thought of Jinora as an observer, and I can imagine her picking up such sophisticated language from the many books she reads. I like how you expand on what we know and add your own creative anecdotes.

I love this line: "[Lin] is a character who is very difficult to understand; a character who doesn't wish to be understood; a character who may not even understand herself." I think that really rings true.

I only saw two mistakes in this chapter: you once use Toph's name instead of Lin's; and "had master" should be "had mastered".

I think Pema should be included, since Jinora did her father and even her father's ex-girlfriend. Good luck with your future chapters!
