I was a little disappointed with that episode, too. Like, it's not secret that John has PTSD, even if it has toned down a bit since he's been living with Sherlock. I would have thought a scare like Baskerville would have had more long-lasting consequences (and also Sherlock is an utter ass for doing that to him)
So, in short, I quite (sadistically) enjoyed this one-shot :3 Very well written and thoughtful!

I really liked this fic because you had John's PTSD and one of his episodes take place within the realm of an episode. I thought that was really cool.

I also liked how you showed that Sherlock can be a bit of an idiot when it comes to that type of thing, matters of the heart, and emotion in general. There are times where he needs to be brought back to earth and you exemplified that really well here in this fic and used John's PTSD as a means of getting that point across. That was great writing.

Lol, very cute and more up-beat ending after all the angst. Interesting take on his days in Afganistan and why he has trust issues kinda, or rather his mind-set when he returned.

And for some reason...I just loved this line:
"His anger simmers into a rolling boiling black kettle of seething ferociousness."

Me too because Sherlock royally screwed up. Poor John even got Sherlock to underestimate the PTSD. I think this would have had to happen for them to truly be able to move on and still be friends. Well done!
