As a whole this fic was amazing. It was emotive, well written, and generally in character, especially the idea that Dean would sacrifice himself for everyone he loved even though he wouldn't get to be there with them. I am glad you added a second chapter, which was perhaps better than the first for the bitter sweet emotions it evoked. You wrote this almost flawlessly, and whilst I think you gave us just enough, I really want more of your writing, especially with a Dean/Jo focus.

This is really good, thank you for writing it. Keep up the good work.

That was perfect. I mean, that was Jo! And Jo getting a chance to grow up (even if it was only because Dean is the universe's biggest friggin' idiot with guilt complex)! And everyone slowly, eventually passing on. And her family be reuinted! And her getting to see her dad! And heaven being Bobby and John and Rufus argueing! And Sam finally free of all the stuff that haunts him! And Cas' grace feeling like warm sand and waterfalls! And Dean finally being happy!

I am so so sooo sorry for babbling, but that was sheer amazingness!

OMG, the first chapter was so depressing although well written. This, though, was so joyous in its ending. Thank you for writing this chapter and finishing your story on such a high note.

I really like the concept of this plot! i would love to see it further explored. I love Jo as well. I feel like she and Dean would have been great had they not gone about it the way they did.

I'd love to see more of this! I think it would be amazing as a full length fic. And Jo doesn't seem OOC she just seems confused. Which is fine lol there is a lot to process. I'd love to see what happens next and what happens when Dean and Jo are actually able to see each other. :)

Seriously, I had no problem with how you did Jo. I think you really capture her matured perspective. But they need to save Dean because there's no way they can bring everyone back and not him. So yeah...*engages Sammy puppy eyes*

Some really lovely moments here! My favorites: "...if tears could well in her eyes, they would" and "...she hope with her entire being that he can stand up again..." With the latter, she's definitely speaking for a lot of us! Nice work.

Oh wow. I loved this. I don't think it was OOC, especially given the circumstances the story was dealing with. I know how she feels and yeah...it sounds like something Dean would do. Even now, after all that has happened, all that he has accomplished, he never considered his life to be as important as the life of the people he loves. Just one of the many reasons it pisses me of when he's written as egotistical.
