Oh Merida :) Love this a ton, brings back fond memories of the movies, and I felt like I could actually hear the characters talking inside my head. I know this hasn't been updated in a while, but I'd love to see more of it!

So...is this dead? I anxiously wait for an update.

Alright! Thanks for taking my challenge (I would appreciate it if you could mention that this is my challenge in the summary, thanks :))!

Just a couple things. You see, this can't just be between Merida and her Mom. The way I had this set up is that this was a gamble that the other lords of the land would have to agree to. Merida would say how not only does she want her freedom and rights, but she also thinks they should break away from tradition, as in that speech that she and her Mom gave toward the end of the film.

She would be a certain amount of time to bring back Mor'du's head. If she failed, she would have to return and married as planned.

And of course, I hope you're planning on having Angus go with her. I was hoping you would put Angus as character B here.

Anyhow, I think you're doing a pretty good job style-wise. I like how you describe a lot of things that go through Merida's mind, and how it's from her POV. That would be important for this story, since when she leaves on her adventure, she would only really have Angus to talk to, and it would be a lot of silence and atmosphere otherwise.

And during this adventure, I would expect a little cut every once in a while to back at home with Elinor and Fergus trying to keep the Lords entertained and busy.

So, yeah. I'm excited to see the next chapter, and I hope you take some of my advice ;)

Oh no, don't do it Merida! Oh great, she's going to climb out her window and try to kill Mor'du... what'll she do when she finds out he can't be killed by any weapon? Oh man, I'm excited to see how everything turns out... and what'll Elinor do when Merida leaves? Oh, the possibilities and questions are endless!

Merida hunting Mor'du. Well, no offense to her, but that isn't one of her better ideas. It's a bit like a mouse going hunting for a cat. Even if said mouse has a bow and arrow.

I look forward to seeing more.
