I enjoyed especially the first part of this chapter because you delved more into the thought world than the anime could. It heightens the tension.

Oh man, this is a beautiful, lush chapter. It seems even more rich than the anime. This duel, particularly this part, always gets to me, and I love how you brought in dialogue and thoughts from the anime and expanded on it. I can feel Yugi's distress and the spirit's concern.

It's funny because I just watched this episode yesterday. Very well written and on point! congrats!

I enjoyed reading that part where Yami thinks of Yugi as the light of his life and says that yugi adores him but he adores him more.

The episode was one that broke my heart. Poor Yugi. He tried so hard to help yami. Yami was scared seeing yugi like that too

I love this enough that I started working on my own version. Look for "Double Duelist" a Yu-Gi-Oh/Double Dragon Crossover/Parody story.
