Hello! I know it's been a while since you finished this (good lord has it been 5 years..?), but it's still so good! :D I love the happy ending and how Shepard kept fighting even when he wanted to give up, I find all of the crew's coversations with each other hilarious (cough cough Grunt's poem cough), and it was also funny to imagine a frazzled Admiral Hackett. Either way, I think this is arguably one of the best male shepard x tali romance that I have ever read. Great job you!

I recently went through and played the trilogy and because it will always be my all time favorite. However, every time I finished Mass Effect 3 I always found myself feeling empty due to the disappointing ending that provided no closure. That is until I came across this masterfully crafted story. Now I know it's a four year old story but I can't help but share my thoughts. I couldn't stop reading but at the same time I didn't want it to end because it out me back in that world which I've grown to love. It brought me back to characters that I'll never forget who served as somewhat of a fictional, but at the same time, real family. That's why I choose to see this as the true ending to Commander Shepard's saga. I cannot thank you enough for writing such a magnificent and emotionally engaging story and know that each time I complete a playthrough of the series, I'll end up back here. Keep up the 10 out of 10 work

Man, I just realised this story is 4 years old now. I found it because someone on a subreddit had posted it recently. Sorry if you recieve email notifications on these reviews on a 4 year old post, but seriously, this is absolutely amazingly written. You did a damn good job.

Hey, so not sure if you're going to be reading this or if this will matter in any way, but.. I just finished this chapter. First ever fanfiction I have read in my life. I recently finished mass effect 3, making the same choices as the shepard in this story, except I saved ashley instead of Keidan. Anyways, I just first off wanted to say your writing is fantastic. Absolutely. If you don't already have a career as writer, you should seriously consider it, if that's what you like to do, because you are good at it. With that been said, the reason why I'm writing on this chapter specifically is because I have a tiny bit of criticism.

I think you nailed how Tali's character acts, which is pretty important considering this fanfic is mainly about her and shepard, but Liara and Javik seem a bit off. Mostly Javik. Their romance seems like a good idea and I like where you are going with it, but it feels way too rushed. And as I said, Javik seems a bit out of character. I'm not entirely sure why, but if I would have to guess it's because he seems a lot more soft and human-like than he appears in the game. He does not go completely out of character, but it still feels off a bit. Maybe it would take longer for him to open up to everyone and start smiling and expressing emotions like some regular human would. He has been frozen for like 50000 years after all.

But that's about all the criticism I have. Aside from tali, you did a really damn good job with Garrus aswell. I found myself just almost automatically imagining his voice through the dialogue you've given him.

Anyways really like this fanfiction so far.. This actually sort of gives me a closure to the game that I felt I needed after the somewhat lackluster ending Bioware had provided. As I said in the beginning, your writing is damn good.

And uhh.. I guess this is the end of my rant. I'll continue reading the next chapters (if there are more) now :) If you're reading this, thanks for writing this story and I hope you have a great day.

Damn, no words can actually describe how good this was and the feelings it evoked. The first chapter almost dehydrated me and the others were pretty close. This is the perfect ending to a perfect trilogy.
