I know this story is dead, but I gotta spew info.

Shirou, while not tech-savvy, is knowledgable in modern-day electronics.

Also, Rin shouldn't know even that much about technology. "Oh, they just confuse your senses and you still walk around even in the game. Obviously" (She's so inept she can barely use a phone.)
She's like a grandmother introduced to the newest technology after living under a rock for 90 years.

Also, in a fight of Shirou's ideals vs what anyone else wants, Shirou's ideals will win out 100% of the time. This means that if sword training can save more people, Shirou will continue to do it even if others don't wish to and it doesn't matter what happens, he'll keep doing it.

Also, what even caused that event from London and how did it affect Shirou?

Skills from the real world, while possibly not as deadly, will still be deadly. Why? Because they are ways of fighting. Take the Swallow Reversal cut skill, it is a skill that strikes three times at once and it is done with ONLY skill.
Thus, you do a strike * 3 to create the same result, and the fact it all happens at ONCE makes it EXTREMELY deadly.

Will he be able to use his reality marble a.k.a Unlimited Blade Works?

It's kind of all filled with boring dialogue with changes of POV that apparently are just there for characters to analyses another's actions... which really might as well be written in 3rd person POV instead! But really, talk is fine but it kind of falls flat when you use it to set the scene item-by-item instead giving a description the environment beforehand in more subtle ways (again, probably something to do with the POV)... Doesn't really feel like the story is going in any particular direction, though the initial info they got on Shirou was interesting...

Somehow, I don't think Shirou would have the same "can't logout" limitations as the other players lol But I can certainly see him spending most of his time in-game just to be helpful :P
