I loved Gerald intervention, stepping up and having some knowledge about Helga's doing. In other fics they always make Gerald act so insufferable, I don't get it. He's Arnold's best friend and in love with Phoebe, of course, he will be somewhat observant (after all, he is a storyteller) and understanding too, and in the TV show, he doesn't HATE Helga to the point of being blind and discriminatory to her.

I also loved Brainy intervention too. It feels like suddenly this story, that was already nice, became so much more... it became smart and in character. I also feel this way because up until now we could only see Helga and Arnold together like there was no real-world outside their bubble, no responsibilities nor other interests. For instance, one would expect Helga to be into sports or writing... In this chapter, nevertheless, we get to see them interacting with others and it makes everything more believable.

Just a fact check... There is no such thing as a double shot of Long Island iced tea. It's literally a dump of all the alcohol you can think of and coca cola. You would be done after two, if not one.

I really like the story line so far...But I'm have issues with the narrative around the way you are describe teens in love or lust. I'm getting thus bad impression that this narration is more of a personal jealousy and regret on "not fitting in"
It's very off putting and lacks a lot of tact and could've been better written. If are going to write a love story you can't have this weird twisted view that it's not okay for the rest of the world to feel these emotions only just these two because it's "special"

On another note, I absolutely LOVE this story! It feels very in character, with a little bit of character growth as well. The fluff is great, the angst feels real, and the story is beyond sweet. I hope that you’ll be able to continue this story because it’s been a total joy to read (binged it in one day!). I hope we can get the conclusion on day

Oh my gosh I need to hear the epic conclusion to this story! Who is fuzzy slippers, an OC? WWhy is it a big deal if Arnold and Helga together? Why is he getting revenge so many questions relating to fuzzy slippers but no answers. I love the story so far all the love and romance scenes between Arnold and Helga, they never failed to make me smile and feel fuzzy inside and also the part about his parents and sharing the journal with her was just so sweet! It's not perfect and have its faults like with characters acting slightly OOC, Arnold dating history with lila, the impromptu drinking fest at Brainy but otherwise I really really like the story. Favorites!
