![]() ![]() ![]() This story is awesome! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am not a huge Avengers fan but I truly enjoyed this. |
![]() ![]() "Friend Steve, do you not wish to celebrate our victory by consuming alcohol and singing songs of praise?" OH MY GOSH! *choke* I love it! And I also love the Fury part. |
![]() ![]() hi, i was wondering if you could tell me the real artists of the paintings? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've read this like five times and I also love the ending! |
![]() ![]() Yes. Fantastic. Nice writing, excellent concepts. |
![]() ![]() ![]() 6. Fury Yes! Coulson is alive! "The biggest threat we could face is mistrust and suspicion. I don't take kindly to threats to my people. Sir." He doesn't need titles, his authority defies ranks! Anyway, I read somewhere that he’d have received ‘posthumous’ promotions, to be at least Colonel too, if I remember correctly. It wouldn't hurt to deal with people like Fury.! ;) - You did it, dear. Perfectly! That's our beloved Cap! The loyal friend and teammate, drinking with Thor and Tony, to honor Coulson. The bright curious mind to mesmerize Bruce. The sweet gentleman artist to warm Natasha's heart. The physical perfection in a kidlike curiosity to soften Clint’s soul. The father worthy figure to ground Tony. And the fearless scary leader, the heart and soul that can unleash all Avengers’ strength in just one look! That’s how we love him so much! Thank you my dear! One of my favorite stories ever! Please, please, keep writing! xxoo Mari |
![]() ![]() ![]() 5. Tony "He missed the good old days when Steve didn't know better." Yes, he's not dumb, Tony! "What did you do, Tony?" He knows you, Tony! And, that's by far THE coolest idea about Steve lifting Mjolnir! OMG! But Steve won't cave to Tony, no way. Not the right thing to do! lol! |
![]() ![]() ![]() 4. Clint You're so right! Form marvel db: 'The serum metabolized and enhanced all of Steve's body natural abilities to the peak of human potential. He possesses peak human abilities, such as formidable strength, speed, agility, stamina, dexterity and reflexes.' No human, however good, can mach all his abilities combined! "Steve glances back once when he hears someone next to him, but he doesn't lose his focus." Again, marvel db: 'peak human senses: Steve senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch are at the highest possible limits of human potential.' Not even super spies can sneak unnoticed around him! ;) "This city isn't my New York anymore," Steve says, yet the look he gives Clint is an optimistic one. "But I'm hoping it can be again." And here is the sweet guy we know and love! |
![]() ![]() ![]() 3. Natasha "Instead of some paintings that individually remind her of a little of her team members, it feels like the entire team is stripped bare to their exposed nerves and displayed on these walls." Ok. You're an artist too? This is beyond amazing! I want to see this pictures! "It's how I see you, what you all mean to me." Sweet sensitive Steve! |
![]() ![]() ![]() 2. Bruce "From what I could gather, the serum contained a retrovirus that was activated by a specific kind of radiation, which self-replicates in my system and therefore will never need to be replenished." Yes! Thank you! Of course he's intelligent! You don't wake up 70 years in the future, lead a team of unprecedented powers to win a war against aliens by being dumb! ;) "He's a scientist. He's also the victim of a failed experiment. He considers things like informed consent sacred." Poor Bruce... this is so meaningful... :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() 1. Thor Great prompt idea! "Come, friend, we have won a great victory and must raise our glasses in remembrance of Son of Coul." That's a valid reason to make Steve consider the silly contest! ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() great job on clints reaction to finding that he's alive. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Flout, dammit! FLOUT! If Steve was inclined to the 'flaunting' of orders he'd be showing them off in a provocative fashion! Like-making a cape with his orders printed on it and waving it tauntingly at people, or something! Daaaaaaah why are those words so regularly confused. Driving me nuts. Anyway, your story made me laugh. Steve finding the time and energy to get a gallery showing (under Bucky's name no less) and engaging in parkour and wanting to learn science and being able to pick up the hammer were all delightful sources of surprise. The first chapter was a bit weak, but it held together okay. And the descriptions of things like the parkour were very nice. Did he...do a painting for Loki? Man's a saint. |
