This was shaping up to be a really good story. Nice mix of light, typical Lisbon-Jane friction, mixed with the brilliance underlying Jane "antics" and anchored by the omnipresent Red John threat. You've got one reader if you ever chose to finish it. (The termination of the show is no barrier. Literature existed long before video.) Thanks for writing it.

This is lovely. You did a great job of transitioning from the humor (or terror depending on POV) of Jane on a photography kick to Red John creepiness. I know it's been a while since you updated, but it's never too late! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I don't think you have to worry about the depth of your plot as the quality of the characterisation and dialogue is enough to make this an absorbing and amusing read. Looking forward to the next installment.
