Ah- this is what you do best, Melusine. Lots of lovely yearning and looking and thinking too much, and then bam! It all comes together, goes wrong and back to lovely angst and then a happy ending!
I love the descriptions of Marcus- especially a naked Marcus. And I had forgotten just how sexy he is, and vulnerable and just too good to be true but in a good way. And Susan is fabulously screwed up and complicated.

Your writing is perfect in this - the images just unfold one after another in a smooth and rich sequence that is intensely satisfying. Really a lovely treat.
(ONe tiny bit is that the switch from third ot first person now and again threw me)
