Himani17 chapter 100 . 7/10
Hey! I just finished reading this story. This is absolutely amazing. I love how you’ve kept the essence of the original Christian and Anastasia but at the same time gave them your own unique personality. Like Ana is so strong , confident and bold but at the same time she hasn’t lost herself . She’s still clumsy , a bookworm and just adorable. I’m literally in awe of her. And Christian , oh my god, he’s his own sexy , controlling self but also so adorable , caring and sweet . I haven’t read any other fanfics quite like yours and I’m literally obsessed with them. And the suspense was just killing me but it was soooo worth it. I just couldn’t stop reading . I just canno wait to read the next part.
Thank You .
I hope you keep writing such amazing stuff. You’re truly very talented and to think you were just 19 when you started writing ! You’re awesome.

It took me a while to compose this review, but here it is.

First of all, I want to say thank you and congratulations. This fanfic (and the sequel) is permanently my most favorite fanfiction in this fandom. Why? Because I never settle for less. This is the very best fanfic I've ever read.

You bring the facets of their lives that little to no other author 'dare' to write. Yes, you may get the detail wrong because you write it long before Grey or Darker published. But that's not the point. My point is, you are a really, truly, absolutely wonderful writer.

Oh, did you know, I consider this fanfic my safe place?
Yep, whenever I feel in need of reassurance regarding Ana and Christian, I read this.

I fell in love with your characters. I absofuckinglutely love, love, love your Ana and Christian! (and little Ted for the sequel!) Not because they are perfect, but because they have flaws and they make mistakes. But they learn from that, and grow to be better together. And THAT is what I missed in their journey through marriage. The ups, the downs, the rugged road, the walk-on-clouds. Sadly, the books didn't cover it, if not yet. Needless to say my heart broke when the series ended. I love them so much I didn't know I could. And reading your fanfics here quench my thirst. I fall in love all over again. Oh, and they're so canonical I really enjoy it, like I did the original ones!

You are so very thorough and deep about their story. The first few chapters made me unaware that you slowly and surely uncover the layer beneath. I'm truly in bliss, not knowing where will you take me. And Bam! Out of nowhere (or, maybe it's always there, but I'm too blind to see) you blast my fragile heart with their separation (weird that it may seems, but I love this part of your story. I really do). Sorry for the spoiler. I just... I didn't see it coming. You know, this really shook me to the core, I played hooky and not attending my course just so I can read your story more (do not try this at home lol). The point is, I didn't even realize I'm so invested in this fanfic that I barely able to cope. And handle my breaking heart, also. But the surprise didn't end!

I LOVE THAT THEY MADE-UP! Oooh I love the break they take to Cornwall. I love how they mend their fragile hearts and relationships. I love that they became stronger though all life has thrown at them. This is my favorite part throughout the story no doubt.

Then you took me to their next step: writing about Christian's birth mother.
You see, sometimes I need someone to point the rather obvious part of a character. I have been blessed by a simple, regular family and I have trouble to think what it's like to life at the other side. So, to have read your thoughts about Christian's birthmom, and later, the Grey family, I'm so grateful that you added the insight and let me store the knowledge to my brain. That's a sad, beautiful chapter. I love it. I love all the chapters honestly, even the heartbreaking one! Also, I think you helped me figure out what it is that I love about Christian the most: his vurnerable and fragile side. It makes him human. And it's so, so beautiful that he shared that side (and all of his shades) with Ana. Hey, maybe that's why I love them so much! They are so beautiful together...

That is what I mean when I said you brought the deepest, most complicated theme/scenes. I love that. I love that you took a chance to breath their lives back. I always adore the minor authors who wrote canon and stick with it, and yours the best!
And you put the end of Elena. Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly fine with the book's end. Though I'm itching to set Elena to her place. And what a nice place that is! (evil laugh)

And oh, what I love the most is: how Ana loved to startle Christian by sneaking behind him and hugged/touched him! Haha how playful! These silly and cute acts warm and melt my heart. I really, really like their tender/playful touches. I live for this. I love how playful they are, how comfortable they are with each other. With these little things I get the picture of their life as a young married couple. So in love. And and the part when Christian would sing to Little Blip! I think I might die happy.

I get why you wrote the way you did. I get why Ana felt overwhelmed, I get why Christian wanted to save her. I get why they had arguments, and then agreements. It's not about how to write perfect characters. It's about how to make your characters grow and develop into the better. I get why people seem to rather dislike this story about growing, but that's life for you. It's not instant, it's not all rainbow. And I get that the characters are NOT always right. Usually we dive right to their minds, we relate to them to certain extents, but we forget that it's their side of story, we simply don't get (or don't care about) the other side. So when Ana did what she did, I get why people upset. But, really, it speaks more about how well you guide us through. You are a t

You don't know how much I love this fanfic. Well, I hope you do. You're a talented, amazing author and please, keep writing! Thank you for this beautiful fanfic, not too flawless, but that's what makes this so, so precious. Be proud of this work! You did great, more than great! I'm glad to find my safe place here.

Keep writing!
Best regards,
Horizon.
