This was a brief, but awesome story. I liked the details you included to flesh everything out - that Danny's human body scars, but his ghost body doesn't or that ghosts target the torso. It was thoughtful. I also really liked the significance of the last paragraph. And, of course, the entire situation because I was thinking about how Danny dealt with changing in gym class.

A very nicely written one shot! I really like the idea behind it as well.

I really like this. A lot. I've read a couple other outsiders-see-danny's-scars-because-of-gym-and-he-has-to-cover-it-up stories, but you always manage to pull something really wonderful and (most definitely) not cliche out of these ideas.

I like the way you described scars in his human mode and how he still isn't as quick when he's Fenton. Those were nice touches that I appreciated because most people don't really bother to decide what they think about those points and very rarely tie it into their stories as nicely as you did here.

I also appreciate the fact that the only person we knew in this story was Danny. We didn't know the senior or the other guys in the locker room. Didn't even really know the ghosts. I'm not quite sure what makes me like that aspect of this story quite as much as I do, but I do.

It's something I can definitely imagine happening in Danny's life, but the fact that it wasn't someone he sees every class period like Dash who could make so much trouble for him over this means that yes, it's happened, but he doesn't have to spend the rest of his life worrying about it. He can actually enjoy what it means- that wonderful last line- that someone has recognized him for someone more than boring Danny Fenton.

Well done. We so seldom hear about the rest of the school. Nice explanation about scaring in human form and not in ghost form. I also liked how Danny reacted with a mixture of embarrassment, frustration, and the barely admitted pride and acceptance.

Awesome. You really brought the nameless senior to life as a real-seeming person (but teenager), and I loved the ending.
