I have to say that I read this chapter a while back (probably around when this got updated) and got heavily distracted before I could post a review. This was a pretty good chapter and I have to say that this is getting very interesting with the background of the A-Gene.

With the A-Gene having been researched by George Hatfield and the Government utilizing as such, "Scientists have always been used for war," comes to mind, although I'm probably stating the obvious.
Reelah's run-in with Langdon was a close-shave with the knife hitting her chest. Normally, that would pretty much be a lethal blow, lots of vitals that could've been struck, if they weren't, but since these are A-Gene actives we're talking about, it sounds like she may bare a nasty looking scar from it.
Manuel Garnett seems like he doesn't like Langdon... I wonder if this'll go in-depth.

I wonder what would happen if Amiko were to successfully seduce someone. Good faction or bad, and if Langdon would have a response.
I like your character development, I'll see where this story goes.

Nice chapter, learning about the first hybrid was really interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing him in action. I'm also curious to see what will happen now that David and Rein have split up from the others. I understand that you won't be able to update for a while, but I'll look forward to it still. Science is very ambiguous when stuff have been discovered. Whatever the outcome, it can be use for both good and for evil.

Interesting how you are doing things. Mostly with the whole George and Reelah scene. I hope to see more of them together and become an odd couple of sorts.

Yes you've updated! Thank so much. I was actually worried that you may have dropped this story. I'm glad to know you didn't. Well, I was entertaining to read what the gang was doing. I finally got caught up with the story, and I'll say that the chapters from the time I last posted a review to now are great! I blame my short attention span for that, but now that I got caught up, I'll try to keep up now and read new chapters ASAP so I don't forget to do so.

Quite a bit has gone on and I'll say that it's greatly paced and the characters are well formed. The events that have passed within the past few chapters have given background to the past with David and Yuri's imprisonment in the Gulag, and Rein's loss of a dear friend and gain of her A-Gene abilities and Partner, Fenrir.

It also sounds like George Hatfield and Reelah may be covered soon. It'll be interesting to see what'll happen to them.

Anyways, great chapters to have caught up on, I'll continue to wonder what OC may be introduced and what their role will be, and I'll get back to you on a PM on a matter that I've neglected to address for a while. As always, Semper Fi. - The Constitutionalist -

Another great chapter as usual, Captain!

I loved the way you portrayed Amiko and Drake having a spat. That's just like her, poisoning him and leaving him to writhe on the floor.. I especially love the way you bring out the coy and sly woman on the outside all while keeping her together with her more bitter and cynical inside. The characterization is perfect!
I like the dramatic way you introduced George.. I wonder how he came to be the first A-Gene? Anyway, the characters are slowly coming together and flowing, I really like it! You're a master of plots as always, keep up the great work!

Nice chapter, I liked getting to see David and Rein's past, I was really curious to see Rein's because I felt like I knew the least about her. Drake can't seem to catch a break, but considering he is one of the bad guys I'm okay with that. And the very first hybrid? That sounds like it will be very interesting. Good luck.

You continue to portray Rein fantastically, and is it bad that I ship Rein and David? Like a lot. Especially after the kiss on the forehead. Screw the age difference. My poor baby. ;; At least she's got friends now, especially David. There's really not much I can say. It was just all so perfect. I saw absolutely no mistakes. Nothing. Down to the last detail, everything was perfect. Though I do wonder about this George character. Nice job adding some mystery after such an emotional chapter. Well, good job, Captain! Sorry, too lazy to login. Oooh, I liked the scene between Drake and Amiko. I must say that Amiko and Langdon are my two favorite baddies. Can't wait to see what Langdon has in store for Drake. And also, Reelah meeting the ifrst hybrid was shocking.

With the appearance of the first hybrid I can only assume "Plot Intensifies". And poor hybrids, your life is just not allowed to work out for you.

The first Hybrid. I would like to get to know about this George Hatfield. Who is he and who is his type. I would very like to get to know him and if he becomes friends with Reelah. It would be great if they get become battle partners.

It seems that it is heating up a bit. I would love to see to see how you will continue this.

Nice chapter, as much as I dislike Langdon it was pretty entertaining to see him beat Drake in the fight, it also makes me wonder how Dameon and the others will fight him when he's that powerful, but I suppose that's still a ways off. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
