My ranting aside, your fic was sweet and I can't help but love it. Hmm, on second thought, maybe writing it this short is better. Anyways, I think it's not a fail at all. Rin sounds really cool saying he's the one who's supposed to protect Yukio. Waah, the Okumura duo is the best! Thanks for posting this! I'll look forward to your next fic.

I don't think it's fail. It could've used a bit more set-up, like what was going on, where they were, what brought on this sudden revelation. But, for a second attempt it's not all that bad. It's still cute even without the stuff I mentioned above.

Aww! I love the last bit. And, the thought that, even as a baby, Rin might have somehow consciously taken on Satan's power in order to protect Yukio. Very sweet.
