This is one of the realist thumbs I've ever read. I felt so much while reading it. Thank you for writing it.

So I read the entire story (with pauses to watch the Lakers’ game), and here are my thoughts:
1) I quite enjoyed your OC character. She felt complete, she felt well thought out, she felt, well, human. And that’s really what I look for in these cases — well done.
2) At the beginning you seemed to be rushing things into the cliché “fake couple that develop feelings for each other whoops” storyline, but you quickly shocked me and drew me back in with the twist. Really just ruined the mood, but improved the story tenfold. Well done.
3) I especially enjoyed how the characters aren’t perfect, reminding us that we’re all broken, insecure, and trapped in cycles with there often being no chance of escape. There’s a beauty in that brokenness, and you reflected it well. Again, I’m impressed. Thank you for writing this, I highly enjoyed it.

I can verify that the rules of lying to your parents are 100% accurate, except for one thing. You forgot to talk about plausible alibis. If you can get one if your siblings or friends to back you up, and have “proof” that something else was happening, it helps your case. So I lie to my parents sometimes. So sue me.

I just devoured this fic in the wee hours of the morning, absolutely unable to put it down. It was incredible. A real roller coaster of emotions. I was never sure how to feel about Al or even Mandy. Very much loved the ending. I hope one day you get around to writing that Scorose spin off!

I like how you made this al and mandy's story, like I kept waiting for Rose to appear, or even Harry to have a bigger part, cause like you know how in the epilogue of deathly hallows Harry and Al were so cool and close and crap

Ahhh I loved this even more than You can marry me . Its just yes I swear the whole time I was either squealing,sighing because of a cuteness overload or wanting to beat up that douche Kevin and that's fantastic because your characters were well thought through enough that I felt along with them . okay All and Mandy are adorable and probably one of my favorite Al\OC stories so far . well that's it so I'm going to go check out more of your stories buttoefore that I have to favorite the story and author because I loved the two of your stories I've read so far ,sincerely Alissa

For some reason or another I keep coming back to this fic to read it again and again. I can honestly say it is one of my favourite fics on this website as well as being one of the ones that has had the biggest impact on me. It is a fic I have continued to think about it in the months after reading it. I first read it at a time when I too had 'lost my way' a bit and had made decisions and choices I wasn't happy with and I wasn't sure were 'me'. I really related. I just wanted to say thank you because this fic honestly helped me think things over and also to realise that things weren't the end of the world. So thank you :)
