That ending just ratchets up the the suspense for what the future holds. Not that a sequel is strictly necessary. This does feel complete - as complete as any story can be that does not end with the entire universe collapsing back in on itself.

Jane forbidding himself to love Lisbon, his own susceptibility to suggestion, this is just magnificent.

The ending completely blew me away.

I'm glad they pulled him out of the house-or what was left of it-alive, but then again I figured they would. (I'd like to know what was going through Lisbon's head when she watched the house blow up.)

That last part was very vague and thus confusing. Why is Jane in a hospital worker's uniform? What did he mean by everything working out to perfection? That makes it sound like he had the trick house thing planned all along, even though that makes no sense because of how much it hurt him.

And now I want to know what Jane and Lisbon and the rest of the team are going to do next. Please follow up on this!

What an evil ending! What?! I hope you have a sequel? This is killing me! I need to know what happens next! This is way too good to stop here.

Oh my gosh that ending! Is there a planned sequel? (If not, please don't think I'm asking you for one. I am firmly of the opinion that writers choose wisely where to end their stories for their desired effect to be maximized, and if you are ending this saga for good here, I completely, 100% respect that. I'm only asking because of the ending.)

I really loved this fic, loved the stuff with Lisbon and Bertram, and loved how Lisbon wasn't going to push Jane's mind and was willing to let him rest and offer him comfort. I adore hand holding in pretty much every context, so seeing her take his hand in this chapter was very nice. And of course, the ending. Just amazing, great job on this fic! It's one of my favorites of all time. :)

Scary! I mean obviously Jane can't die, but nice cliffie. Also, I loved the call from Jane. Short but totally sweet. I was totally creeped out by the CBI office. But the honeydew was pretty funny, in a creepy sort of way. And the "Dare you risk it..." I think he will! Crossing my fingers anyway. I can't wait for the next chapter. This is so good!
