I love this. I'm reviewing as I read because-as usual-there are so many wonderful moments. I love the revelation that she doesn't feel the need to leave the door closed at Leena's. She finally has found a home where she can let her guard down. Loved that.

And the simple moment when Pete asks: 'how come you don't...talk about her?' I think this may be my favorite moment of the fic. I think its a question we're all dying to have asked about the show-for Myka to acknowledge that it was real, that what they had was real.

I loved the ending. How she was happy to talk about it too-sort of what I alluded to above. And, you know, I think we both touched upon that topic back in the Bram days: the feeling that Brooke or Sam would have-the fear-that if they didn't tell someone about their relationship then it really wasn't real, and it could vanish right before their eyes and that terrified the both of them in different ways.

So it was great to see you touch on that with Myka. I felt the same way, wanting to see that validation. I tweeted Drew Z. Greenberg, I said: 'Hey could you just have Myka mention that she and H.G. are going out off-screen or something?'

And the 'who could leave you behind?' comment. I really liked how you stayed within character here because Pete is totally incapable of being wholly honest with his emotions without resorting to humor or sleazy Pete to hide his vulnerability.

(And as an aside, how can people ship the two of them without it being totally OOC? I mean, there's not way Pete could honestly see Myka naked without snickering nervously or shouting 'The Tetons!'. It would just never happen).
