Amazing.
Icecat62 chapter 1 . 7/16/2014
This was wonderful. The ending was beyond lovely. I can't say enough good about this fic.
Lunabloup chapter 1 . 6/3/2014
I loved this story too ! It makes me so sad to read the hell Sherlock and his family went through. I think you depict his complicated relations with Mycroft very well. His paranoia against his brother feels very real. I am sad for Mycroft who would surely like to see his brother and will always be considered as the annoying "big brother" (this expression fits him in many ways) by Sherlock.
Thank you for you answer in french to my last review, it's very kind of you. I'll continue to write them in english because I need to practise as well
Maara chapter 1 . 5/16/2014
This was beautiful! I have too much ACD Sherlock in my head to have imagined what withdrawal would be like for him. But this story flows perfectly.
Puggle chapter 1 . 3/12/2014
Very moving piece
Thank you for sharing
Ennui Enigma chapter 1 . 2/19/2014
Well written. The phrases... chopped and short, interspersed with the story description, are effective for this style of angst.

I like how you've made Sherlock choose... his work or the cocaine? In the end, that's what it boils down to... which is more valuable?
Nicely done.
Meiyo no Ko chapter 1 . 12/11/2013
Whoa. That was... Wow. Incredible. I loved the picture you created of Sherlock's family, and how, in the end, it was the music that saved him, acting as that bridge between himself and the facts buzzing around his head.

A hearty 'Bravo!' for a job well done.
Iva1201 chapter 1 . 11/20/2013
One of my most favourite pre-series Sherlock fics. Thank you!
librarywitch chapter 1 . 10/16/2013
This was...wow. Only thing it needs is a Kleenex alert. Wonderful read.
Reader chapter 1 . 8/14/2013
Very nicely written, I liked especially the ending. And your version of Sherlock's parents and Lestrade. (-:
chris chapter 1 . 6/25/2013
It was amazing reading your descriptions of his descent into darkness and subsequent recovery and evolution. lovely
Esther Kirkland chapter 1 . 6/14/2013
I...
I love you.
It is way too late at night for me to still be up reading fanfiction, but this is seriously the best piece I have read in I-don't-know-how-long. The pacing is brilliant, the dialog /glitters/ and I am in love with Sybil and maybe even William. First time I've ever seen the elder Holmeses treated with any degree of seriousness or character developement. It was absolutely painful, watching this from both sides - Sherlock and his folks - and knowing how hard it was on either side ... My friend, you are a master.
Thank you so much for posting - and sorry it took me so long to find this!
PJTL156 chapter 1 . 6/14/2013
I really liked this angsty one as well. :D Really good story. A lot of emotion. It's nice to see the Holmes family and how they love Sherlock and want to help him get better, and also how Lestrade does as well. Glad you had the violin and music take the place of the cocaine addiction. :}
Night Of The Land chapter 1 . 6/6/2013
What a terribly beautiful story. Having seen addiction up close and personal and being a lover of music, I felt particularly moved by this piece of work. Wonderfully done, darling, absolutely heart wrenching.
Keep up the great work,
NOTL
Iva1201 chapter 1 . 4/8/2013
Sorry, I am not able to log in at the moment - but I wanted to say one word: perfect. (-: I really liked this piece - and how you portraited the long and difficult struggle Sherlock had to undertake. The last part, with the violine, is truly extraordinary well plotted. Thank you!
